Now this is a quick way to see what people are storing on web servers around the world, but it can be pretty complicated entering in intitle:"index.of" (mp3) into Google just to do a quick search for a song. Some of these directories are better than others. The best results can be found when the directory Website Ranking is listed in the following form:

When clicking the link on the Google results page and entering the directory listing, it is just a matter of clicking on the song title to start playing the song in the browser window. From here it's just a matter of pressing enter and letting Google do the leg work. Some of them contain an entire album; some of them are just a collection of random songs.
